The system in Additrom school is designed toward the achievement of our mission and vision.

As a result admission is opened to all children from 2 years to about 14 years who have either not had any formal education at all or have had some level of formal education elsewhere but want to continue in our school because of its unique services.

Admission at the early childhood development centre (Nursery and Kindergarten) is done with respect to the age of the child.

Admission Requirement

A
A parent/guardian is required to provide the school with the following:

  • One passport size photograph of the pupil
  • A Photocopy of immunization record of the child as recorded in the child's Health Record Book (Weighing Card)
  • A Photocopy of the child's birth certificate.
  • Fully completed/filled admission form purchased at the school.

B
Admission at the Basic and JHS 1 and JHS 2 is based on successful sitting of an entrance examination. A successful applicant will provide the school the following:

A parent/guardian is required to provide the school with the following;

  • One passport size photograph of the pupil
  • A Photocopy of immunization record of the child as recorded in the child's Health Record Book (Weighing Card)
  • A Photocopy of the child's birth certificate.
  • Fully completed/filled admission form purchased at the school.

Admission Process (Basic 1 - JHS 2)

Parents and prospective stakeholders who want to enrol their wards in our Basic School (Basic - Junior High School) are encouraged to do the following:

  1. Visit the Headmistress or the Assistant Headmaster's office for enquiry
  2. Register for the entrance examination
  3. Admission forms will be issued to successful applicants
  4. Fully fill/complete the admission form and attach the necessary documents per the requirements in Section (B) above
  5. Any further clarification or enquiry must be made at the Headmistress' office otherwise proceed to the accounts office and make payment
  6. The child starts school as soon as possible

Much as prompt payment of school fees on or before opening of an academic term has been the policy of the school, parents are encouraged to contact to appropriate authority as early as possible should a need arises.

Performance of Additrom School pupils at BECE has been outstanding in the metropolis. In 2019, the school placed 18th on the League Table.

Considerable number of candidates often score above 500 marks out of 600. About 95% of candidates get placed into their first choice senior High schools. Consistently, the school has ranked within the first 50 schools out of about 600 private and public schools in the Accra Metropolis. In 2019, the school placed 18th on the league table.
